      International groups, cozy atmosphere.

Location - very close to airport busses and O'Connell St.

Breakfast wasn't very good, very crowded. Thin walls.

I liked the group atmosphere, a community gathering place for travelers, and the fact that they had evening get-togethers for guests. It did get noisy but for the mostly young people, that was fine.

A few inconsiderate guests, but that could be anywhere.

The position is great, few steps from community house, temple bar and trinity college. Rooms are clean, and the bathroom is nice. The price is definetely low, and there's is a good ratio between price and quality of the service.

The hostel is crowdy, a bit noisy, and the beds are terrible. They could have done much better with few modification. However, the price is low enough to stand this

I stayed in a private room at this hostel. It was a great size, with a set of bunk beds. The shower/bathroom facilities were on this floor and they were always very clean. They had obviously been renovated recently with new tile, doors, etc. The front desk staff are really helpful and it was in a pretty good location for access to O'Connell street, Temple Bar and the bus station. Would definintely recommend this. I had booked it for 2 nights and then after seeing comfortable it was, booked a third night.

The main doors are down a back alley which is pretty/dark dank. However, I felt pretty safe in the area.

The showers had plenty of hot water, pressure and were clean and relatively luxurious for a hostel. The place had a good communal vibe, though I wasn't really getting too involved with the other patrons as I was meeting friends in Dublin city during the night before and the next day. The bed was very comfortable and I believe had a memory foam mattress.

The breakfast was the usual minimal light continental (corn flakes and toast). A guy in the dorm I was in had smelly feet. Otherwise there wasn't much to complain about. The breakfast is what you expect though. It's a nice place for 15 euro.

A good atmosphere in a hostel. There is a cheap beergarden in summertimes. There are a group of hostels with shared facilities. Rooms, WCs and showers are always clean. There are lockers for bulky luggage for 2 euro/day.

The water in a shower is too hot an you can not ajust it.

Location and themed evenings with reasonably priced food and drink.

    • Couple
      7.8

The location is perfect (just 3 minuts walking from the coach station and 5 from the city centre), and the hostal is great, specially the garden beer, where pints cost just 2,5 euros (about 5 in most of the pubs in Dublin). Our room (double room) was big, clean and confortable, and in the basements there are big lockers to leave the stuff and a cosy area with tables, sofas, pool, and a sauna (we didn't use it).

In our floor there were just 3 showers and 3 toilets for, at least, 20 rooms. On the other hand, it's very noisy. If you're expecting have a good rest, forget it (I must say that we were on Saturday and the hostel was completely full, but we couldn't sleep until 1 and at 6am there were already people using the hair dryer in the corridor...). The breakfast is poor ( just bread, jam and butter, juice, one kind of cereals and tea or coffee), and help yourself: you'll have to "fight" against the other people if you want to toast your bread.

location - price pretty good for dublin

no towels provided - but hirable for 2 euros

    • Single

Great location in the heart of Dublin. All seemed well when I check in for three nights. The staff were great, and the room and shared bathroom were very clean. Imagine my shock at discovering that many of the room doors have hinges which force the doors closed, concluding with a deafening BANG as the door slams into the door frame. This noise can, of course, be easily eliminated by holding the door while it closing it. Most of the guests, however, seemed to either be oblivious to the noise or did not care, especially those returning at 2 and 3 AM after an evening at the bars. Needless to say, I did not get much sleep during my three nights there.

The hardwood floors in the private rooms not only creak with every footstep, they also reflect any sounds made in the room. This, coupled with the paper-thin walls, made for a VERY loud environment. Conversations in the neighboring rooms could be easily heard. (If someone in the next room had a loud thought you could hear it!) If all you are looking for is a place to lay your head after a long night of pub-crawling, this is your spot. If, on the other hand, you actually want to sleep at night, you would be best to go elsewhere.

Loved the hostel. Great service, has its own bar and dinner options, and has nightly activities if people want to participate in them. And they also have a sauna, pool table, and table tennis, which makes it a very good hangout if you can't go out a night for whatever reason!. Also, it is in the city center, so it is close to a lot of sites and interests!

    • Group of friends

The hostel was very clean, and the staff ware wellcoming and helpful. The hostel is cooperating with the Dublin free tours and the guide came to the hostel.

The showers warnt amazing, the hostel is located near railway so now and then ther was noise. Yet for it wasn't that bad
